LIT Leaders in Training
In addition to two weeks of camp fun, this session is designed to build on previous camp experiences and provide opportunities to not only understand what “leadership looks like”, but to practice the attitudes and skills that are required to become a “leader”.
Campers are encouraged to think for themselves, make good choices, set goals, make plans, problem solve, and take responsibility. They will be offered opportunities to plan and lead games, and learn to instruct activities with the support and coaching of Staff. LIT will help them develop confidence and self esteem and a belief in their potential.
